Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge is primarily a big cat sanctuary (lions, tigers, leopards, cougars — and some bears, oh my!) that has rescued animals from all over the United States — and every one of them receives the very best of care. And, if you want to do more than just visit with your favorite critters, you can spend the night with them in safari lodges, safari tents, suites, bungalows — even a tree house! In addition, the facility provides numerous educational programs (and daily events) and day camps for children of all ages. Oh, and you can “adopt” your favorite animal or contribute to the food fund. The quaint town of Eureka Springs is a tourist destination in its own right, but a visit to Turpentine Creek is a must see!
