Indian Mound Reserve preserves old and older history, from an abandoned (1917) mill site (Harbison Mill) to an ancient Adena Native American mound, all set above Massie Creek Gorge. Several short hiking trails traverse 169 acres of old growth forest that protect Massie Creek and its gorge, interesting rock formations, a restored log cabin, and Cedar Cliff Falls — actually man-made by the Harbison family to harness the power of the creek. This is a popular park for picnickers, dog walkers, and nature lovers.
