Images from Yellowwood State Forest, Brown County State Park, and Anderson Falls in central Indiana
Just south of the artists’ community of Nashville, Yellowwood State Forest is a wonderful playground for Jeepers and rock hounds. There are some nice hiking trails and creeks to wander through, and lots and lots of horseback trails. Brown County is a surprising state park of rolling hills that provide beautiful vistas and hiking trails — and lots of deer! The park sports a quaint lodge and cabins for dandies, and a cute campground for the outdoor lovers. Anderson Falls is a pretty waterfall on Clifty Creek about ten miles east of Columbus. It is a good side trip for those traveling west toward Nashville for a long weekend.
