So, last evening, desperately needing rain for my lawn and garden, I watched on my NOAA app as an impressive thunderstorm trundled across the southern Miami Valley, missing us but dropping life-sustaining moisture on the communities of Springboro, Centerville, Bellbrook, and Xenia. Jealous though I was, I couldn’t help but enjoy the tremendous light show that this storm was creating and sustaining. Ultimately, I set a lawn chair in the middle of my driveway and armed with a beer and my cellphone, I sat there spellbound for an hour while Mother Nature provided her own brand of fireworks, the kind that I appreciate the most. I hope you appreciate these photos, brought to you compliments of our Mother.
